A Summer Co-Ed Tournament
Sonic 3 on 3 brings together co-ed teams and families from across greater Portland for a summer tournament that raises money for Windham Youth Basketball. The event remembers Danny Giguere, Windham High School class of 1998, and doubles as a reunion for Windham alumni.
How It Works
Teams check in by 10 am, with rules at 10:15, then start double-elimination play. Games go to 15 points or 15 minutes; a girl’s basket counts 2, a boy’s counts 1. Ties go to sudden death after a coin toss. Volunteers referee youth games while adults call fouls themselves, and co-ed squads of five, three and two by gender, play together throughout.
Entry costs $60 per team, or a donation of your choice, and champion T-shirts go to winners in all divisions.
