Windham, Maine – The 2017-18 Windham Boys Basketball schedule has been announced. The Eagles will play 18 regular season games this winter, while competing in the AA North Division.
The 2017-18 season, which will be the third season for Head Coach Chad Pulkkinen, begins with preseason contests at Hermon High School against Hermon and Hampden on November 25th. The following week the Eagles will be heading north to Presque Isle and Carribou for an overnight preseason tournament on December 1st and December 2nd. The Eagles close out their preseason contests on December 5th when they play Gray New Gloucester.
The Eagles finished 13-7 last season, losing to EL in the Semifinals. With an experienced and hungry core returning the eagles look to build on last season. The excitement seems to brewing in the Windham community.
The Eagles begin their season away Friday December 8th against Cheverus for a 7:00 PM tip off. The Eagles first home game is Tuesday (12/12) against Portland for a 7:00pm tip. The Eagles then travel north to take on the Bangor Rams Friday (12/15) at 7pm.
The Eagles return home for two home games against Noble (12/19) and Edward Little (12/22) both home games tip off at 7pm. Windham will close out the 2017 calendar year against Bonny Eagle (12/29) at BE at 7pm.
Windham kicks off the New Year with a three game road trip starting with (1/2) against Massabesic at 7pm, then to Thornton Academy (1/4) at 7:30pm and rounding out the road trip against South Portland (1/9) at 7pm .
The Eagles return home against Sanford (1/11) at 7pm and Bangor (1/15) at 1:30pm.
Windham will then travel to their crossover game against rival Westbrook (1/19).
Windham will once again host a duo of home games against Lewiston (1/23) at 7pm and then Deering (1/26) at 7pm. Windham returns to the road to take on Oxford Hills (1/30) at 7pm.
The Eagles tip of at 7pm back home against Scarborough (2/1) and then hitting the road neighbor Gorham (2/6) for a 7pm tip off.
Windham closes out the regular season home against Bonny Eagle (2/8) for what will be a great game on senior night.
